Job Description
Job responsibilities
• Identify and understand the needs of target audiences and stakeholders
• Develop and nurture a good brand image for the University that will assist in the positioning of the overall marketing strategy and communications
• Develop and implement communication strategy for the corporation that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand
• Oversee corporate communications and branding in various online and print platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and industry magazine
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the corporate website including methods to deliver message, ease of navigation and clarity of information, ensure that all content is current and relevant
• Provide consistent and timely information to employees through various communication programs
• Act as corporate spokesman and respond to members of the medica in a timely manner, composes and distributes press releases as needed
• Develop and maintain a positive professional relationship with various members of the media
• Assist executive leadership in developing presentation, speeches and other important corporate messages
• Provide suggestion concerning graphics, clarity, distribution, speeches and press release to Finance and Accounting Department for preparation of corporate annual report.
• Develop, implement and adhere to communication budget
• Develop, composes, distribute, and implement policies to enhance the efficiency of the communication department and to further develop the building and maintaining a positive corporate brand

Job Requirement
• Degree /Masters in Corporate Communication/PR/Broadcasting/Journalism or equivalent
• Possess at least 5-10 years of similar experience, preferably from education industry.
• Good communication skills both written and spoken in English Language and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak in a third language will be an added advantage
• Possess good networking particularly with the media and government agencies
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-skill
• Have excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations and organization skills.
• Analytical ability, creative problem solving ability, perseverance, a team player with ability to manage as well as motivate a team of Corporate Communication and Multimedia/design professionals
