Job Description
SUNWAY UNIVERSITY SDN BHD welcomes interested candidates to submit their resume for the above stated vacancy with the following job specifications:The successful candidate will be based in the Centre for American Education (CAE).Responsibilities:
- Teaching and the delivery of subjects in the areas of Statistics and Mathematics.
- Development of syllabi for the related areas.
- Willingness to develop relevant knowledge and certification in these areas.
- Undertaking an active involvement in professional activities in and outside of the campus.
- Performing extra-curricular activities, including counselling of students and the promotion/ marketing of programmes.
Requirements:
- A PhD or Master degree in Statistics and/or Mathematics.
- Teaching and/or research work experience will be an advantage.
- Able to provide students with an appropriate, professional learning environment that supports academic, personal and professional success.
- Passion for teaching and is caring towards young adults.
- Strive for excellence in terms of academic and administrative duties.
- Positive attitude towards work and people.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
